Recently with the whole Holostars situation Asmongold has commented on the state of male VTubers and claiming that they "serve no purpose" which has been met with a lot of backlash from VTubers and people in the space as it is pretty untrue as we go through the clip itself and explain why Male VTubers do have a place within the VTuber space and are not worthless and whether this could be due to asmon's lack of understanding of VTubers as a whole. With a lot of big VTubers including Froot and Lucius Merryweather commenting on this clip which has gotten pretty popular lately with many providing reasons as to why this is just untrue and that the Holostars situation doesn't reflect all male VTubers.
